Liberty Family Farm and Bakery is located in Hart, Michigan. Our farm is beautifully situated on 40 gently rolling acres. Surrounded on 3 sides with maple, beech and vintage apple trees our animals enjoy chemical free grazing and vegetables thrive in happy, chemical free soil. Our animals enjoy a grass based diet, free ranging in moveable pastures from May- November. Along with a grass based diet chickens, turkeys and pigs receive Non-GMO grain and minerals to supplement their diet. Our lamb is grass-fed. Heirloom vegetables are grown in 3 high tunnels and in large gardens on the farm.
The Farm
Liberty Family Farm offers a variety of products for your enjoyment. Fresh greens from our gardens and hoop houses are available several months out of the year due to early and extended harvests. Summer heat loving veggies including heirloom tomatoes, peppers, beans, squash, beets, carrots, herbs and more are available at the farm or local farmers markets. We raise chicken, heritage turkeys, and hogs in the summer. Throughout the year we have grass-fed lamb available! Liberty Family Farm does not use any chemicals, GMO’s, pesticides or antibiotics. Our animals are humanely raised and enjoy fresh air, sunshine, and free range on fresh clover and timothy grasses. Along with raising delicious and fresh food we provide a “Farm to Table,” experience here at our farm during the summer months. We look forward to growing for you!
The Bakery
Liberty’s Bakery strives to make healthy, wholesome and delicious baked goods. We use Non-GMO and Organic ingredients in our products. The "Ultimate Breakfast Cookies" are the premier product here at the bakery. During the farmer’s market season we incorporate local fruit in our pastries, muffins and pies. We also offer a line of baked goods made with Gluten Free Ingredients. Although our bakery is not certified Gluten Free we take care to bake and package these items first to avoid any mingling with wheat products. Our bakery does use tree nuts but does Not use peanuts in any form. We invite you to taste the “Ultimate Breakfast Cookie & more…”
